I can't really tell anymore what you're gonna like. You said you love Ray Donovan... even though it's filled with dirty, smelly men doing mean things! grin

Ray Donovan is going downhill last two episodes. I hate Jon Voight in this, he looks dirty and smelly, and what he said to PGs old girlfriend there about being to old for him hit a nerve. Lol

But the Ray Donovan character and his wife I find quite compelling, I like the brothers too.

As for cable guys, none of the ones who came to my house had bodies like ray Donovan's! He does look like he may wear cologne I must admit which is a turn off for me, but luckily Incant smell it through the TV. grin

Maybe you don't like James Woods? He's one of a handful of actors who frightens my wife whatever he's in, along with Ray Liotta, Gary Busey, and Willem Dafoe. cheesy

Too funny.

Ray Liotta scares me a a bit, but mainly because of that scene at the dinner table where he was the victim in Hannibal. That so freaked me out, that creepy smile on his face and half his brain was showing. shocked

I just thought the story gone from kinda smart to not so smart. I mean once they started dilly calling with that hit you knew it wasn't going to happen, super obvious. I hate that. Not going to stop me from watching the rest of the season though!

Yes, that was tough to watch. Personally I think he hurt his career by doing that scene, as it's probably hard for people to get that out of their minds. I'm pretty sure my wife never saw that... she was scared from his earlier portrayal of a psycho in Something Wild.

I wanted to see We're The Millers on holiday, but it was on too late to get back to the hotel for tea.

So we saw Grown Ups 2 instead. It was very poor - the baby with various items in his nappy was cruelty, not entertainment, and normally I like Adam Sandler, but this was crude, overloud and dull.

I'll look out for I Give It A Year on DVD (I like Stephen Merchant!) and Good Vibrations. I also want to see Ruby Sparks for another of Steve Coogan's small roles and Marie Antoinette (ditto). I haven't much hope of What Maisie Knew or Philomena being on at Vue Leeds Light or Cineworld, so I'll hang on for these on DVD.

By the way, my sister and younger niece couldn't get in to see Alpha Papa as it's a 15 certificate (my younger niece is 13).

Saw this tonight. Great movie.

It's been said that the story is actually an adaptation of, or inspired by, A Streetcar Named Desire.

I never heard that, and I saw a Woody Allen movie where he was talking about his inspiration.

When I went to see that I saw a trailer for a Cohen Brothers movie with Justin Timberlake in it, looked interesting. I thought of you.

Yeah, they ran that trailer as well. Cool shots of Greenwich Village.

I've been anticipating this one for the last few months.

Can't wait. User Image

Watched "Now You See Me" last night and loved it.

Surprised really but it has the always watchable Mark Ruffalo in it and a great storyline which keeps you guessing until the last scene almost.

Best wishes

I went to see Jobs the other day and I found it a bit disappointing, despite Ashton Kutchers' work is good.
