Thinking back of a fantastic weekend at Godalming with some real salt of the earth people! Oz, Nikki and Gooner were superb fun and G2 were the icing on the cake! Twice! Great to see so many others there too for such a great cause!

I enjoyed Shrek and Toy Story too.

I adore all three Toy Story films and the first two Shreks (the 3rd and 4th Shrek films are mediocre in comparison to the first two) - but to me, Toy Story 2 will always be the most accomplished and flawless piece of animated entertainment ever created.

Toy Story 2, to me is absolutely overflowing with charm and fun. Not only does it improve significantly upon the first Toy Story (which is still pretty good!) on every single level, it also manages to be incredibly unique in that every last moment means something, and nary a minute is squandered in providing top-notch humour and genius writing. To me there is no point where you can say "They should have left this scene out". Because every scene included was necessary and brilliantly constructed. It just never gets old. cool

If you haven't seen Toy Story 2, no matter how old you are, you just have to. wink grin

BBC Two's new Monday night schedule:

9-10pm: The 70s
10-10:30pm: Sounds Of The 70s

Nostalgia city! cool

Regarding the latter, I had never heard Get In The Swing by Sparks. shocked And the only down side was that Virginia Plain - one of the most avant-garde songs of all time and only about 2'57" long - was cut off about half way through. angry

Pretty dire. I love the other 2 Sparks songs I know, The Number One Song In Heaven and, of course, This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us. smiley

Yes, Get in the swing was a hit, as was Amateur Hour, and their best IMO, "When do I get to sing My Way?"
