Not to remove the smile from your face, but there many indications that the Giants will be awful this year. sad But as much as I dislike Coughlin and Eli, my father was a lifelong Giants fan, so I'll root for them whenever they're not playing the Patriots, Ravens, or Rams. Or the Packers. Or the Colts, I suppose.

Let's have a new NFL Football thread in the Sports Sub-forum here. Now that Nigel's gone, those soccer threads should die-off pretty quickly. shocked cheesy

Oh I know how they're looking, and how much they need to improve. I grew up on their offense being horrible for years, but they always had a tough defense to keep them in games. Their D this year will be pretty stout,IMO, and as long as the O improves throughout the year, and doesn't give games away, I don't think they'll be awful. They did start 0-6 last year, and I don't see that happening again.

I'm all for an NFL thread in the Sports sub-forum. See you there. smiley

That's absurd. An unstable forum member can be abusive on any thread... it's got nothing to do with what the topic is.

Right then! No more being sad! Posting about sadness inevitably leads to frank, adult conversation about emotions. There will be none of that here!

More things make me smile right now:

- the tits thread cheesy

- Having spent time with my dad who introduced me to old recordings on tape reel of him and some friends making music when he was 16 years old, and some of the original music from that time, particularly Ramsey Lewis and Sergio Mendes smiley
