I watched SNL last. There was a skit with Chris Martin carrying a deer? Did I miss it?

I didn't see the deer one Susan, I wonder if it was near the end. I sometimes don't make it that far. He did an appearance on a skit on Update where he was with two goofy singers.

My first ever mobile phone contract. smiley Until now I've always been a pay as you go customer, but this Orange contract was too good to resist:

  • 12 months SIM only
  • 7 per month
  • 150 minutes per month
  • 500 texts per month
  • 250MB internet access per month

And as I had 11.74 credit on my PAYG phone, it will only cost me 2.26 in total for the first 2 months. Fan-bl**dy-tastic. cool

Watching "The Now Show" being recorded for BBC Radio 4 tonight. smiley "The Now Show" is a satirical comedy show about news and current affairs. UK forum members might well know the likes of Hugh Dennis, Steve Punt and Marcus Brigstocke from TV. And one of the best things is that viewing the recording is *** FREE ***! cool Thus the only expense was travel and a couple of beers after the show. smiley

Must admit, there's a lot of these modern comics that don't appeal to me. They seem to pop up on loads of shows, but they're rather predictable. Brigstocke and Dennis I'd include in that, along with other 'stalwarts' such as Phill Jupitus, Ross Noble (I think that's his name!) and others. Nothing against them, they just don't make me laugh.
Gervais is the worst of the lot. Never yet seen or heard him do anything that threatened to make me laugh. Jimmy Carr is another.
Each to their own though, and I know there are plenty of people out there who like them, so fair enough. undecided
