Great news, Dave! I hope you're right that it's long term. No such thing as a long-term job this side of the pond!

The round in "Pointless" about bass players and their bands. The ones I knew were:

Roger Waters
Chris Wolstenholme
Geddy Lee
John-Paul Jones
Guy Berryman
John Deacon
Paul McCartney
John Entwhistle
Sting
Flea
Gene Simmons
Adam Clayton

The ones I didn't know were:

Mike Dirnt
Dougie Poynter

Fantastic news, David! I myself have had 6 jobs in the last 15 years due to layoffs and job titles being eliminated. I plan on retiring in 2024 at the age of 66; the earliest possible to get my full social security and retirement funds.

I wish you only the best, my friend, and that this job is everything you need smiley

The amount of albums I have in my iTunes library has just hit 500 with the addition of The Who's classic live album Live At Leeds! cool

The Who deserves to be my 500th iTunes album. Why you ask? Because The Who was the very first old band that I ever got into. smiley
