Ever since Dust told me that I frequent the thread too much, I want to avoid that thread a bit more often. Besides, this is the random thread, so you post whatever you like here.

There must be something in the air in Cambridge - my nose has not stopped running since I got here 4 and a half weeks ago! undecided

(Jolly good endurance feat that, running for 4 and a half weeks grin)

Speaking of running….

I did 30 minutes cardio at 7am.

One hour circuit strength training at 7.45am.

An aqua fit class at 10am.

Wondering of to go to the yoga class tonight may be a bit much…..

Does he talk about 'drunken stupors' like they are normal behaviour? Does he smoke crack?

My wife had the day off yesterday and called me from the supermarket to ask if I'd like Chicken Parmesan for dinner. I said Absolutely, with some pasta would be great.

I had a late meeting at work and arrived home at 8, whereupon she gave me a plate of Chicken Parm with mashed potatoes on the side. I said No way... mashed potatoes don't go with Chicken Parm, where's the pasta? She had forgotten to buy the pasta, and was a little perturbed at my attitude.

Well, excuse me. My lovely wife is Italian, she grew up in her family's Italian restaurant, and while we were dating I came to her restaurant for Chicken Parm every Friday night. Never in my life have I imagined that it should be served with mashed potatoes, nor have I ever eaten it that way in the nearly 25 years that we've been married.

She scooped the potatoes off my plate and made me a nice salad, but I think she's still a little ticked.

Was I wrong? huh

Bah. What I didn't mention: 1. I cook for her as often as she cooks for me; 2. The aforementioned mashed potatoes were from a tub--chuck the bucket in the microwave and peel the plastic off; 3. She spent three hours at lunch gabbing with her girlfriends; 4. I paid for our entire trip to London AND spent a full day shopping there.
