The Mighty Mellotron is his name
Double Entendre Is His game
He encourages the girls to have a feel
Of his Mellotron which makes them squeal
When their fingers run along his keys
He cracks and falls to his knees
No longer can a tune be played
For his mechanics are rusty and frayed
But his tune still rings out loud and clear
And all us forumites certainly do hear
Someone who makes us laugh and be happy
So much so, we reach for a nappy
For Kev, Shirl and Rach are the best
Who care for and look after the rest
A birthday celebration we will attend
To be amongst those with whom we call friends

It's not an artwork maybe but i'm just starting my career. Well - it may be terribly gramatically incorrect but I'm not perfect in English - it's not my mother-tongue anyway... grin

The quiet caravan's travel never ends
The desert sand flies calmly in the air
The magic night comes to the tired Earth
Thanksgiving sounds are heard in desert plain

Who knows how much of thime this journey takes
Who knows where are these people coming from
How much of pain it costs here everyone
How are they gonna find their brand new home

In the valley of the Desert Dreams
Where desperate fantasies raise to life
Where from te sky falls only rain of tears
All that you feel is hidden in the sand

You chose your way through all these fields of dust
You must now follow the strange caravan
There's no excuse you have to reach your past
Even if this journey costs you lose your mind

Not even sure of some bits myself lol! grin

NB if easterly winds prevail on the East coast in winter, they usually bring cod in with them and Inverbervie beach is a hotspot up here for them.

I think the guy was trying to create this sentiment in a kind of "Rabbie Burns" type way.

Insect in amber

Sometimes I feel like an insect in amber powerless to move forward just able to look backward. When I feel like this I become frustrated and angry with myself because I don't do standing still very well.

It's crazy really because if I look back honestly I can see that I have achieved so much and come so far. Yet somehow its never enough there is always something more I can do.

Everything I want to do just moves along at the speed of a growing gacier when I want things to move on at the speed of sound.

Always one more barrier to break through or one more hurdle to leap over. I have broken through so many, made a myriad of leaps but its never enough.

I am not sure if I will ever get to where I want to be but then again where is it that I want to get to?

Daft the kind of thoughts that go through your mind on a wet Saturday afternoon.

lol
