Your Non -Music Poems

Lost to The Storm
Calm before the storm to eventual breakdown,
rip apart the lifes like leaves in the burning
summers' wind. Ashs of fires I do aspire, winter darkness , unforeseen shadows crossing the scenic
comprise of horded lies.
Weathered ruined soul floats down a jagged cold river
frozen, bitter & forever .
The rain may care.

The Evil of Powerful and Pardonless Men,
The evil of powerful and pardonless men,
Shall never be forgiven.
The apes and monkeys are banging their sticks,
Knowing we shall perish,
By the hands and words of these men.
They cry out, "All hail the missles and bombs!",
While we cry for those who've been lost.
Blood has spilled.
Lives are gone.
Tears are shed.
Thiese simple facts will damn all,
Who've directed and produced,
The war we all see,
The war we all suffer,
The war that will kill:
The children,
The wives,
The husbands,
And the human race.
No more,
Forever more.

This may be a non-music poem ..... but it could so easily be lyrics to a (Genesis) song!
Imagine how powerful the music would have to be .... awesome!

Rosie a flower and everyman's dream .
Rach is so happy she shines like a light ,
Steven and Wendy they just seem so right
Face Value good friends ,dare I say dearer
Little John,SuperTed wished you lived nearer .
Jean your a darlin your pictures are great
Narnia lady wow Hacketts your mate
Mozo my drummer and good friend as well
Doc made a fortune when his picture did sell
Demo man such fun he's also quite tall,
Nicki a life lover having a ball,
Tangent can capture the world through a lens ,
Steve Hammond and others have become such good friends .
I know I've forgotten to name everyone ,
But the grey cells are failing my memory is gone ,
But always remember when life gets you down,
YOUR GENESIS FAMILY ARE ALWAYS AROUND...

JV that's fabulous, but you will now have go through the members list on the forum and write a sentence (rhyming of course) for everyone else!!!
(think I might be more of a nightmare than a dream though? !!! )

Could have been worse
There was a young lady from Surrey
who spent all her life in a hurry
her knickers fell down
and she tripped to the ground
oh what a terrible worry

It's size everyone all could see,
till one day it's said
the blood rushed to his head
and it blew up and wiped out Dudley
