It's all relative to one's own viewpoint. I thought Up and Big Blue Ball were quite good. But this is certainly different from anything he has done. And then the live performances of this material. Heck, that too was original.

No. It's just something you don't care for.

A bit too harsh maybe but you have a point with the creativity bit, not that I/O will change things, just like UP, it will be old in creativity terms when it will be released. There's something to be said about art reflecting a moment in the life of an artist, no one would expect Peter after his career to march at one album and tour every two years pace but I personally find what he does, lately (and for lately in his case it is almost 20 years now) frankly ridicolous. It's like he stopped caring after US. Oh well....

Stopped caring after Us?

Sorry, but...no. He released four albums since Us

- Ovo
- Up
- Long Walk Home Soundtrack
- Scratch My Back

Not to mention the Big Blue Ball project he released, and all the live shows he's done. He's done more touring recently than Phil, Mike, Tony, and Steve put together.

Does he release an album every year, like he used to? No, he's in his 50's, he has a family, he has other interests. And he's released so much already that it's not necessarily at the top of his lists.

Do I feel that he's working on a new studio album? Yes. Will we see it soon? Only that is up to Peter.

And it's been 7 years since Phil released a new studio album, and his was also covers. Has Phil stopped caring, as well?

No, they're just older, and don't have the passion to release albums like they once did.

Brilliant orquetra, fantastic setlist ( excepting the Radiohead´s cover! .... tut, tut ... rolleyes ), wonderful show. cool

Signal to noise ... the best moment of the night. Simply awesome. cool

Peter has shown once again that he only needs his wonderful voice to win the audience over. Best voice I have ever heard, and it will always be that way. cool

Thanks Peter for such an amazing concert. Something totally different to what we are used to see.

Unfotunately I haven't seen it Paloma but I'm sure it's quite amazing, just like you I happen to think he has the best and most captivating voice in business.
